Fortunately, Magnuson is bucking this trend with the release of their TVS1900 supercharger kit for the 2005-2009 and 2010 3V 4.6L Mustangs. The new TVS1900 units are more efficient than the older MP112 units which are also manufactured by Eaton?. Not only is the TVS1900 capable of forcing more air into an engine, but it also has the benefit of creating less noise and running more efficiently than the MP112. This means that the 1900 has the potential to produce more horsepower than its predecessor, the MP112.

Dyno Proven Power Gains

Magnuson's dyno tests show that a stock 3V 4.6L Mustang can gain approximately 168 rear wheel horsepower and 109 foot pounds of rear wheel torque from installation of a TVS1900 kit! In baseline tests, a stock 2007 Mustang GT produced 289.7 rwhp and 268.0 rwtq. After the TVS1900 kit was installed, the car put down 436.6 rwhp and 395.4 rwtq @ a maximum of 8.1 psi.
