KVMSwitchTech Announces Enhancements to Existing Line of Video Splitter Products for a WideRange of Applications

Beachwood, Ohio (PRWEB) November 08, 2011

Video display technology is constantly evolving and Video Splitter products used to distribute high definition (HD) content must keep pace. HDMI has proven to be a robust format for handling the expanding capacity needed for 3D content. KVMSwitchTech?s growing product line of 3D capable HDMI Splitter units now includes a variety of items from simple 2 Port HDMI Splitters to 8x8 HDMI Matrix Switch with infrared remote control and RS232 interface for control from a Microsoft Windows based PC.

Video Splitters have been around in a variety of formats for many years. Original splitters were simple Y-cable solutions. These cable solutions are largely ineffective as they do not provide full signal strength to each display. They were also susceptible to ghosting and image artifacts because of poor shielding. Much of this was overcome with the introduction of powered hardware splitters and switches that boost the signal for each display to full strength. Video Splitter products are available for almost any format including Composite Splitter, Component Splitter, S-Video Splitter, VGA Splitter, DVI Splitter, and HDMI Splitter. Of these formats only DVI and HDMI are capable of supporting high definition 3D content. While DVI is still popular in the PC market, HDMI has come to dominate the TV industry due to the native audio support. All these Video Splitter products come standard with CE, FCC, and RoHS certifications. Some of them also have UL Grade medical certifications.

Video Splitters range in price and capabilities to match user needs. Most Video splitters use simple push-button controls, but can also include RS232 interfaces and infrared remote controls. Customers who need to use VGA Splitter or DVI Splitter will be happy to know that options are available with audio support with dedicated 3.5mm audio jacks for each display. S-Video Splitter units are available with stereo RCA audio jacks. Many of the video splitters are also available as Cat5 Video Splitter Extender enabling the enhanced signal to be transmitted beyond the capabilities of traditional video cables with the use of Cat5e/Cat6 network cables. We offer Cat5 VGA Splitter with or without audio, CAT5 DVI Splitter, CAT5 HDMI Splitter, Cat5 Composite Splitter, and Cat5 Component Splitter units. These Cat 5 Video Splitter units are used for a wide variety of digital signage, training, airports, advertising, grocery stores, casinos, shopping malls, remote surveillance and monitoring, military, government, commercial, stock exchanges, and point of sale applications.

Ed Tresback, President of Magnuson Products, LLC Announces Retirement.

Ventura, CA (PRWEB) January 06, 2012

Ed Tresback, President of Magnuson Products, LLC, announced his retirement effective December 31, 2011. Mr. Tresback spent fifteen years alongside company founder Jerry Magnuson, helping to guide Magnuson Products from a niche re-manufacturing facility into a multi-million dollar Supercharger manufacturing operation.

Mr. Ed Tresback and Magnuson Superchargers Have a History

From his early start at Magnuson Superchargers as the third hire, he rose to position of President in 2010, managing operations and a staff of over sixty people.

Early in his career, Ed Tresback oversaw the remanufacturing of supercharger systems for a major automotive supplier. Fueled by Jerry Magnuson?s vision, Magnuson Products began growing from those roots into the premier supplier of aftermarket supercharger performance. Ed?s responsibility shifted to taking Jerry?s vision and designs and turning them into reality.

A Powerful Influence on Today?s Superchargers

Ed Tresback?s impact on Magnuson?s superchargers and the supercharger industry extend beyond the office into the very heart of today?s supercharger technology. Ed is credited with the introduction of flexible actuator positioning and the more universal actuator bracket along with other designs and components. Many of these components are still in use in Magnuson?s supercharger systems.

Continued Commitment to Powerful, Reliable Supercharger Systems

Ed Tresback?s legacy of excellence continues to influence the design strategy at Magnuson Superchargers. Peak power numbers are useful in their own right, but Magnuson chooses to focus on more than just horsepower increases when designing and engineering its supercharger systems. Their implemented mandate is to produce systems that produce dramatic power a reliable product, and calibrations that are as good as or better than stock to drive. One example of this approach is Magnuson?s fuel saving integrated bypass valves. Further innovations can be seen during the installation process. Magnuson has matched all of the factory manifold connections, supplied high volume fuel injectors complete with factory push lock connectors, and included a pre-programmed hand-held tuner that re-calibrates the factory ECU. Ed Tresback says this about the philosophy of Magnuson Superchargers, ?Our approach to supercharging demands an OEM grade fit and finish for every system we produce.?

Ed and his wife Barbara are looking forward to spending more time with family.

Magenta Research to Demonstrate Enhanced MultiView Line and New Voyager Series Products at ISE 2012

New Milford, CT (PRWEB) December 07, 2011

Magenta Research, the recognized leader in signal extension, distribution and switching, will introduce a wide-range of new and improved products in Booth #4U30 at Integrated Systems Europe (ISE) 2012, taking place in Amsterdam January 31-February 2.

ISE 2012 marks the official public debut of upgrades to Magenta?s venerable MultiView line, which has served?for over 10 years?as the most adaptable, top performing solution for the distribution of Pro-AV signals over UTP cable. MultiView II enhancements are all designed to make it even easier to perfectly replicate 1080p resolution (and higher) video at distances to 2,000 feet. MultiView II products on display will include the MultiView II DVI, T4, STx and XRTx transmitters, plus MultiView II AK600 and AK1200 receivers.

MultiView II Upgrades Include:

???? ????Previous MultiView products occasionally required internal jumper repositioning to change configurations; MultiView II introduces a totally revamped, all external configuration scheme with easy-to-use buttons and status LEDs
???? ????Improved EDID & DDC modes of operation
???? ????Improved sync control
???? ????Fourth-pair configuration options (for aux data like serial and audio)
???? ????Streamlined connector locations for more intuitive rack mounting
???? ????Fully backwards compatible with all previously-manufactured MultiView equipment

Magenta will also be demonstrating new entries in its Voyager Series of products, which extend, switch and distribute video and auxiliary signals over fiber-optic cable. Voyager?s Compact Format (CF) line of products includes the CF-18, a rack-mountable chassis designed to densely pack 18 Voyager CF transmitters into a space-saving 4U enclosure. The CF-18 eliminates the need for separate power supplies and dramatically reduces installation time, while providing a streamlined, condensed rack-based solution.

Stand-alone Voyager CF products will be introduced at ISE as well. Only an inch deep, CF devices are much smaller than the existing, modular Voyager transmitters and receivers, and come with built-in mounting ears, allowing them to be easily secured behind a display or under a desk.

A Voyager 4-port transmitter will also be debuted at ISE. When combined with the ability to daisy-chain Voyager receivers, the four-port transmitter greatly increases signal distribution options for the fiber-based Voyager line. The four-port transmitter is also a key component in enabling Voyager fiber-optic based matrix switching to reach a maximum size of 640 total ports.

Voyager New Products:

???? ????Voyager CF-18: 4U, rack-mountable chassis that holds and powers 18 Voyager CF transmitter units
???? ????Voyager CF Series: Compact format, stand-alone Voyager transmitters and receivers
???? ????4-Port Transmitter: increases Voyager signal distribution options and expands Voyager matrix switch sizes to 640 total ports, which Voyager Flex I/O technology allows to be inputs OR outputs

Beachwood, OH (PRWEB) December 20, 2011

Whether for use in a small office/home office, IT management, or industrial testing environment, extenders for electronic devices have become a necessary part of many work spaces. From the USB Extender for connecting and sharing USB peripherals, to the VGA Extender, DVI Extender and HDMI Extender for connecting high definition displays, and KVM Extenders for remote system management; many companies are finding that extenders are vital to their operations. KVMSwitchTech understands these diverse and changing needs and is constantly updating their product line to match the times.

As the steady march of progress brings fiber optic connectivity to a larger sector of the population, remote connectivity and control is becoming a more feasible option. KVMSwitchTech?s new Fiber Optic KVM Extender products bring the ability to control systems at unbelievable distances using a single multi-mode fiber optic cable. These extenders allow for the direct remote monitoring and control of servers and systems with DVI interfaces and either PS/2 or USB keyboard and mouse along with audio and RS232 at distances up to 15 kilometers (approximately 9.3 miles).

Not every situation requires that much power. With that in mind, KVMSwitchTech has also updated their Cat5 USB Extender product line to include a larger number of USB 2.0 Extender solutions. The product line includes entire range of Icron USB 2.0 Extender products and a four port USB 2.0 over IP server. KVMSwitchTech has also streamlined the Video Extender portion of their product line. Customers who are looking for Cat5 HDMI Extender solutions will be happy to know that all Cat5e/Cat6 HDMI Splitter extender products now include the appropriate number of receivers for each transmitter type. Whether purchasing 2, 4, or 8 port splitter extenders, there is no need to worry about whether the full complement of receivers will be included. These extender units are used in airports, hospital, digital signage, home theater, government, movie theaters, malls, and tradeshow applications. KVMSwitchTech plans on bringing these kit options to the VGA Extender and DVI Extender products in the near future as well. The exception to this would be the fully customizable HDMI Matrix routing Switcher. It supports Cat5e/Cat6 and HDMI connectors for inputs or outputs for a total of 64 different configurations. It offers full configuration ability to include field upgradable modules.
