KVMSwitchTech Announces the Global Launch of Its New E-Commerce Web Shop

Cleveland, OH (PRWEB) September 13, 2011

KVMSwitchTech is excited to announce the launch of its new E-Commerce web shop. The product range includes Digital Signage, Rackmount Monitor, Rackmount LCD, Industrial LCD, Quad Screen Splitter, Fiber Optic Extender, Video Splitter, Video Extender, Video Switch, Video Matrix Switch, Video Converter, KVM Switch and cable/adapter solutions. KVMSwitchTech?s Rackmount Monitor is a combination of keyboard, video and mouse (KVM) in 1U drawer with or without a KVM Switch. Rack space is extremely important for IT administrators. They are always looking for products that will save them rack space and this Rack Monitor keyboard combo is an ideal product for IT applications. There are server room applications with a large number of servers in a single server rack and it is not cost effective to have a dedicated keyboard, mouse and monitor for each one. Instead, a Rackmount Monitor keyboard combo with built-in KVM Switch can be used.

The Video Matrix transports video from multiple video sources to multiple displays. Video Matrix is a combination of Video Switch and Video Splitter. Any of the inputs can be displayed on any of the outputs or the same input can be displayed on all the outputs. These Video Matrix units can be cascaded together to form a larger matrix of sources and displays. Video Matrix unit delivers crisp and clear image quality as if each of the displays were directly connected to the source. We also offer VGA Matrix, VGA and Audio Matrix, HDMI Matrix Switch, DVI Matrix, Cat5 Video Matrix, Component Matrix, and Composite Matrix Switch. Most of these Video Matrix Switch units come with RS232, Infrared, push buttons, IR control, and TCP/IP (optional).

KVMSwitchTech Announces Brand New Addition of DVI Dual Link Fiber Optic Extender to Its Existing Fiber Optic Extender Product Line

Beachwood, OH (PRWEB) October 25, 2011

As modern technology moves to greater imaging resolutions and higher throughput requirements of captured data, fiber optic cabling is emerging as the technology best suited to address these needs. Despite improvements in wireless technology, the security of a solid physical link and throughput of fiber optic cables over distances is a necessity for many industries. KVMSwitchTech has recently added two items to its Fiber Optic Extender product line that combine simplicity and functionality. The new models include Icron USB 2.0 Ranger 2224 Multimode Fiber Extender and the DVI Dual Link Fiber Optic Extender.

DVI over fiber optic extender for displays is not a new concept. KVMSwitchTech already offers a large selection of DVI-D single link, HDMI, and even DVI-D dual link fiber optic extenders. What separates the new DVI Dual Link Fiber Extender over two strand multimode fiber optic cable from prior dual link extenders is the use of a single cable. This miniature marvel is a transmitter and receiver pair capable of sending WQXGA (2560x1600) resolution signals nearly 1000 feet through the use of one common two-strand multimode SC optical fiber cable. More importantly for many users, this extender is HDCP compliant so there is no concern about the image being lost due to security encoding. Finally, all of this is accomplished without any video quality degradation making this plug and play device ideal for Digital Signage, Government, Military, and Hospital applications.

Displays are not the only devices to benefit from the capabilities of fiber optic cables. The Icron USB 2.0 Ranger 2224 Multimode Fiber Extender is an amazing product and allows users to utilize all their common USB input devices from keyboards, scanners, printers, and data drives all the way to USB touch screens over distances beyond the capability of standard USB Extender over CAT5e/Cat6 cables. This USB 2.0 Extender leverages one of the greatest features of USB 2.0, bus powered devices, by including a power supply for the 4 port USB hub receiver. When used with up to 3 other USB hubs it further enables a user to leverage 11 USB devices through one long distance data connection. We also offer USB 2.0 Extender products over Cat5e/Cat6 cables. The available models are Icron USB 2.0 Ranger 2201, Icron USB 2.0 Ranger 2101, Icron USB 2.0 Ranger 2104, Icron USB 2.0 ranger 2212, and Icron USB 2.0 Ranger 2204.

Though KVMSwitchTech realizes that the future is in fiber optic extenders, there is no denying that legacy VGA equipment is not ready to fade away. Customers who still need to support their VGA equipment will be happy to know that we also offer a comprehensive range of VGA Extender products. The product range includes standard VGA Extender, VGA Extender with audio, VGA Extender with RS232, WIFI Wireless VGA Extender, and Cat5 VGA Splitter Extender. These units use a single Cat5e/Cat6 cable for signal extension up to 1000ft.

About KVMSwitchTech:

KVMSwitchTech supplies a wide range Digital Signage, Rackmount Monitor, Rackmount LCD, Industrial LCD, Quad Screen Splitter, Fiber Optic Extender, Video Splitter, Video Extender, Video Switch, Video Matrix , and KVM Switch products. KVMSwitchTech Announces Enhancements to Existing Line of Video Splitter Products for a WideRange of Applications

Beachwood, Ohio (PRWEB) November 08, 2011

Video display technology is constantly evolving and Video Splitter products used to distribute high definition (HD) content must keep pace. HDMI has proven to be a robust format for handling the expanding capacity needed for 3D content. KVMSwitchTech?s growing product line of 3D capable HDMI Splitter units now includes a variety of items from simple 2 Port HDMI Splitters to 8x8 HDMI Matrix Switch with infrared remote control and RS232 interface for control from a Microsoft Windows based PC.

Video Splitters have been around in a variety of formats for many years. Original splitters were simple Y-cable solutions. These cable solutions are largely ineffective as they do not provide full signal strength to each display. They were also susceptible to ghosting and image artifacts because of poor shielding. Much of this was overcome with the introduction of powered hardware splitters and switches that boost the signal for each display to full strength. Video Splitter products are available for almost any format including Composite Splitter, Component Splitter, S-Video Splitter, VGA Splitter, DVI Splitter, and HDMI Splitter. Of these formats only DVI and HDMI are capable of supporting high definition 3D content. While DVI is still popular in the PC market, HDMI has come to dominate the TV industry due to the native audio support. All these Video Splitter products come standard with CE, FCC, and RoHS certifications. Some of them also have UL Grade medical certifications.

Video Splitters range in price and capabilities to match user needs. Most Video splitters use simple push-button controls, but can also include RS232 interfaces and infrared remote controls. Customers who need to use VGA Splitter or DVI Splitter will be happy to know that options are available with audio support with dedicated 3.5mm audio jacks for each display. S-Video Splitter units are available with stereo RCA audio jacks. Many of the video splitters are also available as Cat5 Video Splitter Extender enabling the enhanced signal to be transmitted beyond the capabilities of traditional video cables with the use of Cat5e/Cat6 network cables. We offer Cat5 VGA Splitter with or without audio, CAT5 DVI Splitter, CAT5 HDMI Splitter, Cat5 Composite Splitter, and Cat5 Component Splitter units. These Cat 5 Video Splitter units are used for a wide variety of digital signage, training, airports, advertising, grocery stores, casinos, shopping malls, remote surveillance and monitoring, military, government, commercial, stock exchanges, and point of sale applications.

KVMSwitchTech Announces the Addition of 1U 20? Rackmount Monitor and 23? Widescreen Rackmount LCD Units to Existing Line of Rackmount KVM Equipment

Beachwood, OH (PRWEB) November 30, 2011

It is often easy to get stuck in consumer mode and forget the reason for larger screen sizes in work environments. With the rush to higher resolutions, brighter screens, and better contrast people often get sidetracked and may even eventually begin asking why there is a need for the extra screen space for a work station or server controller. This is where a historic lens can help to refocus on the original justifications for larger displays.

When doing work related projects it is not uncommon to be involved in a multi-stage task. This should not be confused with multi-tasking. Multi-stage tasks could involve editing a document in one program, uploading it to the internet in another, and viewing the end result in a web browser. This is a single project with a single goal, but many steps to achieve it. Here was the true advantage of larger displays. As the screen real-estate grew, the ability to view multiple pages at their natural size was a distinct advantage. Now with the introduction of the 20 inch 1U Rackmount Monitor KVMSwitchTech has brought this same level of functionality to the IT Administrator in the server rack. These displays take advantage of their size to offer a maximum in functionality to the end user.

The best way to take advantage of the large screen sizes is through the use of a widescreen Rackmount LCD. These vary in size to as much as 23 inches and can support picture in picture (PiP), 1080P resolution. In short, they provide all the functionality of a HDTV in a rack environment. The one possible drawback to these 23? displays is the 8U of fixed rack space that they use. The 20? 1U Rackmount LCDs are the best option for space constrained racks. This is especially true when combined with a Rackmount Keyboard drawer and Rackmount KVM Switch. These units can all be integrated into one 1U combination unit with the ultimate utility in a dual slide rackmount monitor with integrated combo KVM switch, which allows for independent use of the display and keyboard.

KVMSwitchTech's new line of KVM Drawer solutions allows complete control of the server?s from a single location. As the name suggests a KVM Drawer is hardware device that allows users to access one or multiple CPUs from a single keyboard, monitor, and mouse in 1U or 2U. These KVM Drawers are an extremely cost effective solution and eliminate hardware clutter. There are several different applications where there are multiple servers in a single server rack. It is cost prohibitive to have a dedicated keyboard, mouse and monitor for every server. The perfect product for applications like these would be a KVM Drawer with built-in KVM Switch.

About KVMSwitchTech:

KVMSwitchTech is worldwide supplier of Rackmount Hardware which includes Rackmount Monitor, KVM Drawer, and Rackmount keyboard with or without integrated KVM Switches. In addition, the product line also includes a wide range of Rackmount LCD solutions.

KVMSwitchTech Announces Release of Fully Customizable 8x8 HDMI Video Matrix Switch

Beachwood, OH (PRWEB) December 13, 2011

Video Matrix Switch technology is a well established technology that is commonly used in a variety of industries ranging from hospitality, bars and restaurants, digital signage / outdoor advertising, and home entertainment centers. Where a standard Video Splitter allows a single source to be displayed on multiple monitors, a Video Matrix Switch allows multiple video sources to be displayed across multiple displays and projectors. Video Matrix Switches are available in a wide array of options including Composite, Component, S-Video, VGA, DVI, and HDMI. HDMI is quickly becoming the standard of choice in most of these applications as it offers high definition video and audio capabilities through the use of a single cable.

Another piece of equipment that is often required to effectively use a Video Matrix Switch is a video extender. Powered extenders are needed for transmitting signals to greater distances as signal degradation increases due to interference from nearby power sources and cable limitations. While some models of DVI Video Matrix Switch devices are capable of both functions through the use of interchangeable cards, most other Video Matrix Switches do not have this option. DVI Matrix Switchers with integrated DVI Fiber Optic Extender ports are an ideal product for the medical industry. DVI Optical Matrix units are typically used for long distance DVI signal transmission (300 meters) over multi mode fiber cable. This Matrix supports up to 1900x1200 video resolutions. The key features of this DVI Router are built-in signal generator, power-off status protection, and field upgradable modular design. These units can be used in conjunction with Quad Screen Splitter for PIP functionality.

KVMSwitchTech?s new 8x8 HDMI Matrix Switch now makes this integrated option available for users with HDMI video sources. The 8x8 HDMI Video Matrix Switch can come preconfigured with the preferred number of HDMI Cards or CatX Cards to match the customer specifications. The system can be configured with all the ports populated, or it can be shipped with blanks and the required cards can be added in the field on an as needed basis. Not only are the individual ports customizable, but it also allows for user control through front panel push buttons, DHCP compliant IP configuration, software control using a RS232 port, or an included IR remote control. This effectively makes it a scalable matrix ranging from a 2x2 for initial cost savings up to 8x8. It is built into a 1U chassis for mounting into a 19? rack and ships with all the necessary mounting equipment. It is important to note that, while it is designed with powered remote receivers for video extension, there are non-powered options available as well for use in areas where a sufficient number of outlets are not available.

About KVMSwitchTech:

KVMSwitchTech is an international supplier of all things KVM. Their experienced and knowledgeable staff is available for email and phone support without the need for navigating an automated phone system. They have many years of expertise in Video Matrix Switch equipment and are able to help design a solution from planning through implementation.

Beachwood, OH (PRWEB) December 20, 2011

Whether for use in a small office/home office, IT management, or industrial testing environment, extenders for electronic devices have become a necessary part of many work spaces. From the USB Extender for connecting and sharing USB peripherals, to the VGA Extender, DVI Extender and HDMI Extender for connecting high definition displays, and KVM Extenders for remote system management; many companies are finding that extenders are vital to their operations. KVMSwitchTech understands these diverse and changing needs and is constantly updating their product line to match the times.

As the steady march of progress brings fiber optic connectivity to a larger sector of the population, remote connectivity and control is becoming a more feasible option. KVMSwitchTech?s new Fiber Optic KVM Extender products bring the ability to control systems at unbelievable distances using a single multi-mode fiber optic cable. These extenders allow for the direct remote monitoring and control of servers and systems with DVI interfaces and either PS/2 or USB keyboard and mouse along with audio and RS232 at distances up to 15 kilometers (approximately 9.3 miles).

Not every situation requires that much power. With that in mind, KVMSwitchTech has also updated their Cat5 USB Extender product line to include a larger number of USB 2.0 Extender solutions. The product line includes entire range of Icron USB 2.0 Extender products and a four port USB 2.0 over IP server. The available options are Icron USB Ranger 2201, Icron USB Ranger 2101, Icron USB Ranger 2104, Icron USB Ranger 2212, Icron USB Ranger 2204, Icron WiRanger Wireless USB Extender, Icron USB Ranger 2224 Fiber Optic Extender, and Icron USB Ranger 2244 Fiber Optic Extender. People looking for USB options are now sure to find something that will meet their needs.

KVMSwitchTech has also streamlined the Video Extender portion of their product line. Customers who are looking for Cat5 HDMI Extender solutions will be happy to know that all Cat5e/Cat6 HDMI Splitter extender products now include the appropriate number of receivers for each transmitter type. Whether purchasing 2, 4, or 8 port splitter extenders, there is no need to worry about whether the full complement of receivers will be included. These extender units are used in airports, hospital, digital signage, home theater, government, movie theaters, malls, and tradeshow applications. KVMSwitchTech plans on bringing these kit options to the VGA Extender and DVI Extender products in the near future as well. The exception to this would be the fully customizable HDMI Matrix routing Switcher. It supports Cat5e/Cat6 and HDMI connectors for inputs or outputs for a total of 64 different configurations. It offers full configuration ability to include field upgradable modules.

About KVMSwitchTech:

If the number of options and type of adapters seems daunting, feel free to contact KVMSwitchTech through either email or phone. Their dedicated and professional staff has decades of experience in all types of video extender and KVM extender products. They are available by phone with no need to navigate through a complex directory system, and can help design a special configuration system from planning through implementation.
