The Pew Internet & American Life Project report found that cheaper prices for the Kindle Fire and Nook tablets during the holiday season brought many new users into market, while overall tablet growth (iPad, ect...) doubled from 10 percent to 19 percent ownership. Older consumers in the 50-64 year-old age range saw an increase of 9 percent in tablet ownership.
