Mary Ann Ponce, Executive Director of The Chagrin Documentary Film Festival, announced the acceptance of the following films which will be screened at the festival which will be held in Chagrin Falls from October 12th to October 16, 2010. Also screening at the festival will be the documentary that inspired it, ?The Lost Sparrows of Roodepoort? by Brock Carter and David Ponce, and ?The Acorn Penny?, a film by Tiffany Laufer . Both films will be shown on Thursday, October 15th at the Riverside Park tent.
Additional events at the festival will include a festival opening reception on October 13th at 6:00 at Chagrin Valley Little Theatre. Documentary films will be featured Wednesday through Saturday at locations in and around Chagrin Falls, including: The Chagrin Valley Little Theatre, Chagrin Falls Intermediate School, Hamlet Village, South Franklin Circle, The Chagrin Falls Public Library, Shute Building / Historical Society, and the festival tent located by the falls in Riverside Park.
